PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilator and a sash having it capable of enlarging a scope of movement of an operation board prescribed by a screw hole part as much as possible. SOLUTION: In a hollow part 27 of a device body 21, a shaft support part 27c for holding an upper end part of the operation board 25 to swing freely is formed in an upper part of an indoor end part, the screw hole part 50 for connecting a frame of a paper screen orthogonally crossing the device body 21 is formed along the longitudinal direction closer to an outdoor side than the shaft support part 27c, an insertion part 50a for inserting a screw is formed to have a cross section having a substantially C-shape having a substantially circular arc shape and being opened toward one direction in the screw hole part 50, and the one direction being opened of the insertion part 50a is oblique downward direction opposing to an outdoor face of the operation board 25 swinging and being fully opened.
