PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a timepiece including a dial having excellent shock resistance. SOLUTION: The timepiece 1 includes a case 3, a winding crown 6 supported rotatably by the case 3, a winding stem 7 supported rotatably by a movement 4 stored in the case 3, and an axial elastic member 8 for connecting the winding crown 6 to the winding stem 7 and transferring rotation of the winding crown 6 to the winding stem 7. Since such a timepiece 1 includes a coil spring 8 for connecting the winding crown 6 to the winding stem 7 and transferring rotation of the winding crown 6 to the winding stem 7, position deviation between the case 3 and the movement 4 caused by impact is absorbed, as well as position deviation between the winding crown 6 and the winding stem 7. Hereby, a stress in a shearing direction is not generated in the winding stem 7 by impact, and shock resistance of the winding stem 7 is greatly improved, to thereby surely prevent break of the winding stem 7.
