PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a polyolefin resin film excellent in appearance because of having few fish eyes and further excellent in visibility and surface smoothness. SOLUTION: What are provided are the method for producing the polyolefin resin film comprising applying a polyolefin solution to a substrate having a surface roughness of 1.0μm or smaller in terms of a ten-point mean roughness (Rz) and evaporating the solvent by heating and a polyolefin resin film prepared therefrom.
