The vehicle air conditioning assembly comprises an air conditioning housing (10), and an air connection portions for connection of a separate air duct (16,18). A coupling element (20) is provided, which is separated from air connection portions and from air duct. The coupling element engages at the air connection portion and is formed for coupling of an end of the air duct. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a coupling element for connecting an air connection portions; and (2) a method for fastening an air duct at an air connection portions.
