PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an objective lens drive device which has highly rigid thin lens holder that has enhanced acceleration sensitivity, and suppresses deterioration of a recording and reproducing signal by securing favorable following performance even when an optical disk is rotated at a high speed. SOLUTION: The objective lens drive device includes: an objective lens converging an light beam on an optical disk; a drive coil driving the objective lens in the optical axis direction and in the direction orthogonal to the optical axis; a movable part including a resin-molded lens holder holding the drive coil and the objective lens; a plurality of substantially linear elastic supporting members whose one end is fixed to the movable part to support elastically the movable part; a fixing member fixing each of the other ends of the elastic supporting members; and a magnet which generates drive force in the drive coil.
