摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophoretic display device that suppresses a leakage current between pixels, has improved reliability as the product, and incurs no manufacturing cost increase, and to provide a driving method for the electrophoretic display device, and electronic equipment. SOLUTION: In the electrophoretic display device, a display portion includes: pixel electrodes 21 each of which is formed in each of pixels 2; an opposite electrode (common electrode) 22 opposed to a plurality of pixel electrodes 21 through an electrophoretic element 23; and a first control line 11 and a second control line 12 connected to each of the pixels 2, each of the pixels 2 includes: a driving TFT 24; an SRAM 25; and a switching circuit 35 that is switched by an output signal of the SRAM 25, and switches the connected state of the pixel electrode 21 to the first control line 11 or to the second control line 12.
