PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To to display a high quality image by efficiently cooling an electrooptical panel such as a reflective liquid crystal panel. SOLUTION: An electrooptical device (100) includes: a reflective electrooptical panel (100); a first holding member (610) which holds the peripheral side of the electrooptical panel; and second holding members (300, 400) which are arranged opposite to each other on a non-display surface of the electrooptical panel, and each of which includes a Peltier element (300) having a cooling part which contacts at least one of the non-display surface and the first holding member, and which hold the electrooptical panel from the non-display surface side.
