PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distance image photographing apparatus for acquiring accurate distance images by photographing. SOLUTION: The distance image photographing apparatus for emitting light waves toward the inside of an imaging space and acquiring, by imaging, distance images indicating the distance to an object in the imaging space irradiated with the light waves on the basis of the propagation delay time of reflected waves from the object includes: a light wave irradiation means for emitting a plurality of light waves having different wavelength bands to another object; a light-receiving means for receiving reflected waves of the plurality of light waves for each wavelength band and detecting the amount of received light of each reflected wave; a delay time computation means for computing the propagation delay time of each of the plurality of light waves; a received light amount determination means for comparing the amounts of received light of received reflected waves with one another and determining the sizes of the amounts of received light; a distance computation means for computing the distance to the object at least on the basis of the propagation delay time of light waves of the wavelength band that has the largest amount of received light at the light-receiving means; and a distance image creating means for creating distance images on the basis of the distance to the object computed by the distance computation means.
