PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature sensor wherein ventilation to a temperature-sensing element in an element storage member is secured, while positioning the temperature-sensing element in the element storage member. SOLUTION: This temperature sensor includes: a sheath member; the temperature-sensing element mounted on one end of a sheath tube; and the element storage member having a cylindrical shell part storing a part of the sheath tube, and a tip part connected through a step part having a narrowed diameter from the shell part and having an inner diameter larger than an outer diameter of the temperature-sensing element and smaller than an outer diameter of the sheath tube, which is the element storage member for storing at least a part of the sheath member and the temperature-sensing element. The temperature-sensing element is arranged in the tip part of the element storage member, and one end of the sheath tube is positioned on a position separated from the step part of the element storage member to the base end side of the sheath tube, and the element storage member and the sheath tube are caulked and fixed intermittently from three or more directions in the radial direction of the shell part of the element storage member.
