PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a differential case reduced in its weight as compared with the conventional ones, and suppressing a scoop-up resistance of a lubricating oil at high revolution range while securing a high scoop-up performance of the lubricating oil at low revolution range. SOLUTION: The differential case 1 includes a flange 3 extending in a direction perpendicular to an axis N and a window hole 10 for housing a pinion gear and a side gear. The flange 3 has a plurality of spokes 11, and through openings are formed between the spokes 11. The spokes 11 have a fin shape for scraping up an oil in the extending direction of the flange 3, and the fin width H of the fin shape is reduced from the axis side to the centrifugal side.
