PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraviolet resistance enhancer which when orally ingested, enhances the resistance of the skin to ultraviolet radiation and can alleviate or inhibit skin damage induced by exposure to ultraviolet radiation. SOLUTION: The oral ultraviolet resistance enhancer includes gabexate mesilate and alleviates or inhibits skin damage which is skin inflammation or aging induced by exposure to ultraviolet radiation.
