The invention relates to a device known as a multi-functional cultivator intended for vertical cultivation, said device being made from structural steel and including at least three tines for tilling a field. The invention is characterised in that the device allows the distance between the tines to be varied, from a position in which they are practically touching to a position in which they are separated by the required distance. The multi-functional cultivator can perform subsoiling and fallowing operations simultaneously.
