<p>Wheel alignment of a rear wheel equipped with a toe angle controller is set properly without using an alignment tester, or the like. At the time of calibration drive control, an ECU (12) drives an electric actuator (11) so that the front wheel steering angle (df) becomes 0, i.e. the toe angles (dr) of the left and right rear wheels become symmetric (steps S3, S4), and then sets a symmetric toe angle position (Ssym) (step S5). Furthermore, in order to make the toe angles (dr) of the left and right rear wheels parallel with each other, the ECU (12) drives the electric actuator (11) with the same amount of operation from the symmetric toe angle position (Ssym), and after substantially equalizing the standard operating position (Sstd) and the reference position (S0), i.e. substantially equalizing the axial force (AF) and the standard axial force (AFstd) (steps S7-S9), resets the value of an operating position detection value (Sdtc) as the reference position (S0) (step S10).</p> |
