<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily clear paper jam in a fixing device. <P>SOLUTION: A fixing member 30 which forms a fixing nip section N with a pressure roller 39 for performing fixing process to a toner image formed on paper P; a peeling member 40 which peels the paper P that experienced the fixing process and adhered to a fixing belt 33; a guide member 50 which guides the paper P passed through the fixing nip section N to the downstream side; and a position change mechanism 60 which performs position change of the guide member 50 between a guide position guiding the paper P and a retraction position retracted, are housed in a fixing housing 21. The fixing housing 21 is housed in the apparatus body 11 of an image forming apparatus 10. The position change mechanism 60 operates such that the guide member 50 is set to the guide position while the fixing housing 21 is mounted in the apparatus body 11 and the guide member 50 is set to the retraction position while the fixing housing 21 is pulled out of the apparatus body 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
