<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the durability performance of a pneumatic tire low in flattening. <P>SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire (1) includes a belt (6) comprising one or more circumferential belt layers (3a, 3b) and two or more inclined belt layers (4a, 4b) outside a tire radial direction of a carcass (2) over a pair of beads, where a tread (5) is arranged outside the radial direction of the belt (6). The maximum width (BW<SB>1</SB>) of the circumferential belt layers (3a, 3b) is 60% or larger of the total width (TW) of the tire, and the width of at least one of the inclined belt layers (4a, 4b) is larger than the width of the circumferential belt layers (3a, 3b). Furthermore, in the pneumatic tire (1), an additional reinforcement layer (7) in which multiple cords extending on the equatorial plane C of the tire are covered with rubber is provided in an area including width direction end positions of the circumferential belt layers (3a, 3b) inside the tire radial direction of the circumferential belt layers (3a, 3b). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
