PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a display panel, raising productivity without variation in weight of particles which cells are filled with, and without requiring execution of particle removal step to a partition for securing a gap between substrates. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the display panel is constituted of: a particle arrangement step of forming a partition for securing the gap between substrates higher than a partition for forming cells, dividing an information display area into a plurality of areas surrounded by the partition for securing the gap between the substrates, when the particle groups are arranged in the cell, loading a mask constituted so that it has an opening corresponding to at least one of the plurality of areas and the partition for securing the gap between the substrates is masked sequentially and alternately on the partition, sequentially putting and arranging particle groups dropped from an upper part of the mask; and a panel sticking step of arranging adhesives at least on the partition for securing the gap between the substrates of a panel substrate filled with particle groups to be stuck to the other panel substrate.
