PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a range location display device which can be reduced in the number of parts and simplified in a structure while preventing the forward and backward movement of a location display member in an M/T mode. SOLUTION: The range location display includes: a guide base plate 5 in which a guide groove 50 and a guide groove 51 are formed in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle body and in vehicle width direction, respectively; a location display member 8 which moves along the guide grooves 50, 51 and displays the present range of a shift lever 2; a forward and backward slide plate 6 which can slide in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle with the shift lever 2; and a vehicle width slide plate 7 having an insertion hole 70. The vehicle width slide plate 7 moves the location display member 8 in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle in an A/T mode, and when shifting the shift lever 2 in the vehicle width direction from the D range, moves the location display member 8 in the vehicle width direction.
