PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a so-called middle-coat-less method of forming a laminated coating film comprising a base coating film and a clear coating film on an electrodeposited coating film, wherein the performance of the coating film, e.g. interlayer adhesiveness and chipping resistance of coating films obtained is improved. SOLUTION: A method of forming the laminated coating film includes: a process of successively applying an aqueous base coating composition and a clear coating composition, in a wet-on-wet manner, onto a substrate with the electrodeposited coating film formed thereon; and a process of baking the two coated unhardened coating films simultaneously to harden. The aqueous base coating composition comprises an acrylic resin emulsion (α), a polyether polyol (β), an active methylene type block polyisocyanate (γ), and a talc pigment (δ).
