PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve sound quality at low cost by enhancing transient characteristics just before an on-board loudspeaker with a little computational complexity to thereby enhance a sense of sound field as a result. SOLUTION: A digital waveform compensation circuit 12 is comprised of: a retarder 121 for retarding an input signal by a delay time until generating a distortion component of a first wave upon input of impulse obtained from impulse response measuring results of the on-board loudspeaker 15; a low-pass filter (LPF) 122 for generating a waveform having a width corresponding to a distortion waveform of the first wave output from the retarder on the basis of filter characteristics obtained from the impulse response measuring results; a phase inverting circuit 123 for generating a signal component of an inverse phase reducing the distortion component of the first wave from output of the LPF; and an adder 125 for adding the input signal and output of the phase inverting circuit.
