PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clip which is attachable and detachable smoothly and easily by preventing an interference between a securing section and a mounting hole, and which is used for holding a component in a mounting hole of a panel. SOLUTION: The clip 10 is provided with a securing section 30 and a holding section 40. The securing section is provided with: an elastic tongue 50, 51 which makes elastic contact with the front surface of a panel 20; a support 60 which extends from the elastic tongue toward a mounting hole 21; a clamping tongue 70 which protrudes from the tip of the support, has a shape capable of passing through the mounting hole, and makes contact with the rear surface of the panel when slid in one direction after being passed through the mounting hole; and an operation tongue 80 provided to a part of the elastic tongue. The clamping tongue is set in such a manner that the distance L from the front end thereof, which is located forward in the slide direction, to an edge of the mounting hole, the edge being located forward in the slide direction, is greater than the amount M of the slide.
