PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a multifunction by using a single function-compatible IP core in a PC card, such as PCI (Peripheral Component Interconnect) (PCI-Express) card. SOLUTION: In the PCI card 10, single function-compatible hardware functions (HW functions #0, #1) are arranged. Also, individual device driver functions #0, #1 corresponding to respective HW functions #0, #2 on the PCI card 10 are arranged on the TCP/IP stack 21 side of a computer 20. A multifunction-compatible driver 31 is arranged between the individual device driver functions #0, #1 and the PCI card 10 and, with the multifunction-compatible driver 31, each of the HW functions #0, #1 of the PCI card 10 is operated independently of the other by the individual device driver functions #0, #1 on the TCP/IP stack 21 side.
