A gallium alloy temperature-sensitive fluid for use in thermometers, which consists of, by weight, 45 to 64.5 parts of gallium, 20 to 32 parts of indium, 9 to 15 parts of tin, 9 to 15 parts of zinc, 0.005 to 0.01 parts of germanium and 0.002 to 0.01 parts of copper. The gallium alloy temperature-sensitive fluid is obtained by mixing, melting, and then naturally cooling said elements. Said temperature-sensitive fluid is non-toxic and non-volatile, and can thus serve as a harmless measuring medium for glass thermometers used to measuring the body temperature of humans or animals.
|
