<p>Abstract A protective device for use with roof guttering of a building is in the form of a thin, elongate member, or shroud, adapted to be mounted, at locations spaced 5 along its length, in relation to guttering or to a fascia on which the guttering is supported. When so mounted, the member or shroud extends along and has its lateral extent project upwardly above the upper edge of the front wall of the guttering, thereby enabling use of low-front or low-mounted guttering.
