<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a timepiece for vehicle-use which precisely times a clock time regardless of accuracy of its oscillator, and provide a method for manufacturing the timepiece for vehicle-use. <P>SOLUTION: The timepiece for vehicle-use 10 includes: a display 12 for displaying the clock time; the oscillator 14; a memory element 13 for storing a compensation value; and a microcomputer 15 which times the clock time on the basis of a compensated frequency obtained by compensating a frequency of the oscillator 14 by using the compensation value, and controls the display 12 to display the timed clock time. Meanwhile, a manufacturing facility 11 is composed of a frequency measuring instrument 16 and an arithmetic device 17. In the frequency measuring instrument 16, a clock pulse of the oscillator 14 is input, and a clock pulse given by the microcomputer 15 is compared with a reference clock pulse output by a reference oscillator, and a measurement result is given to the arithmetic device 17. The arithmetic device 17 calculates a compensation value for compensating the frequency of the oscillator 14 into the reference frequency on the basis of the comparison result, and writes the compensation value into the memory element 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
