<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology with which an electronic device that operates using a power supplied from an external power source can appropriately operate. <P>SOLUTION: A base station 1 includes an interface unit 13, a storage unit 14, and a control unit 15. The storage unit 14 stores the maximum value of power the external power source 41 can supply as a suppliable power value. The control unit 15 controls the operation of the base station 1 based on the suppliable power value stored in the storage unit 14.
