<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generation control device capable of improving fuel efficiency by executing power generation using an alternator while good fuel efficiency, depending on the battery remaining capacity. <P>SOLUTION: The power generation control device includes: an alternator 6 driven by an engine body 4 for generating power; a battery 8 to be charged by the generation of the alternator 6; an ammeter 17 for detecting the charged state of the battery 8; and an ECU 2 for calculating a fuel amount consumed per unit time by the engine body 4 in order to drive the alternator 6, and switching the power generation state of the alternator 6 depending on the charging state detected by the ammeter 17 and the calculated fuel consumption amount. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
