PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant-derived composition that obtains a molded product having high heat resistance and has high reactivity between a phenolic hydroxy group of a plant-derived polyphenol and an epoxy group of epoxy resin, a method for producing the same and a molded product. SOLUTION: The plant-derived composition is obtained by mixing an epoxy resin containing two or more epoxy groups in one molecule with a plant-derived polyphenol having two or more phenolic hydroxy groups in one molecule and reacting the epoxy group of the epoxy resin with the phenolic hydroxy group of the plant-derived polyphenol into a semi-cured state.
