PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pumping discharge device capable of preventing the overflow of drainage water from a storage tank 9 due to troubles in a water supply system and a water discharge system of the storage tank 9 without having to provide a new water level detection means. SOLUTION: The pumping discharge device includes: the storage tank 9; a flow rate switch 36; a cutter 10; a float switch 12; a discharge pump 11; and a control part 8. When the control unit 8 normally actuates the cutter 10 by a previously set number of times on the basis of a detection signal of the flow rate switch 36 under the condition that the float switch 12 can not detect a water level, the control unit 8 controls the discharge pump 11 so as to forcefully drive it in a related move. The control unit 8 controls the discharge pump 11 to be actuated through the normal detection of an actuating water level a1 of the discharge pump 11 by the float switch 12 under the condition that the flow rate switch 36 does not detects the inflow of toilet drainage water into the storage tank 9 and that the cutter 10 does not turn into a driving state even if the toilet drainage water flows into the storage tank 9.
