PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent an accident in which a crew of a railway vehicle erroneously opens doors on the side not facing a platform. SOLUTION: Left side (right side) doors D are constructed not to be opened unless a left (right) outdoor switch 20 is operated to open after a left (right) indoor switch 10 is operated to open. The right and left outdoor switches 20 are respectively arranged at a position departing by a specific distance from a crew's doorway 1 on the outer side face of the vehicle T. Because the crew cannot operate the outdoor switch 20 unless the crew steps down once on the platform, the outdoor switch 20 on the side not facing the platform is never operated.
