PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink ribbon cartridge which can be mounted on the cartridge mounting section of an existing printer apparatus, and also, can more increase the number of windings of an ink ribbon as compared to that in a conventional ink ribbon cartridge. SOLUTION: The ink ribbon cartridge includes: the ink ribbon 10; a supply spool 11; a winding spool 12; and a cartridge body 13 which has a supply-side ribbon housing section 31, a winding-side ribbon housing section 32, and a head entry opening portion 33, and in which the ink ribbon 10 is extended in the head entry opening portion 33, wherein a concave guide portion 43 acting when mounting the cartridge on the cartridge mounting section 130 of the printer apparatus 100 in the insertion direction into the printer apparatus 100 is formed, and on a bottom face of the concave guide portion 43, a projection portion 44, which comes into contact with a guide portion 138 of the printer apparatus 100 side is formed.
