PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-falling apparatus capable of effectively utilizing a space formed below an opening and of being inexpensively manufactured with a simple structure. SOLUTION: The anti-falling apparatus includes a safety net 3 for covering the opening 2 formed on a floor 1, a frame for turnably pivoting a base end of the net 3 so as for the net 3 to have a housing position approximately vertical to the opening 2 and a developing position approximately parallel to the opening 2 to cover it and a drive member 7 disposed between the frame 5 and the net 3. The drive member 7 includes a cylinder 9 of which a base end is turnably supported on the frame 5 and which is disposed so that a piston rod 8 extends and draws approximately parallel to the opening 2, an arm member 11 of which the front end is turnably connected to the net 3 and a triangular bracket 12 connected to the piston rod 8 and the arm member 11 and formed into an isosceles triangle.
