<p>The wheel bearing (3) for a tractable wheel of a vehicle is accommodated in a housing (2) and kept in place by an outer ring (8) axially attached to the housing (2). The housing (2), made of a cast material is provided with a molded inner layer forming a sleeve (4), which is folded, at least partly, around one of the rims (7) of the outer ring (8) in order to form a stable connection. The wheel bearing (3) is protected from being tilted inside the housing (2) by lateral forces.</p> |
