<p>A method and an apparatus for multi-user beam forming based on the frequency division duplex system are provided in the present invention. The method includes: the transmitting weight of downlink signal of each user terminal at each direction-of-arrival while there are more than two users is determined with the nulling widening algorithm, and stored at the network side; And, the user terminals are divided into groups at the network side according to the direction-of-arrival information reported by the user terminals, and the corresponding transmitting weight for the downlink signal of each user terminal in the group is selected according to the direction-of-arrival information of each user terminal in each group; the selected transmitting weight is multiplied with the corresponding downlink data stream and then transmitted through the antenna. The present invention can reduce the operation burden at the network side and improve the efficiency of beam forming, thereby ensure the communication quality meanwhile increase the capacity of the FDD system.</p> |
