<p>A mobile device (100), such as a mobile phone, includes an upper housing (102), a lower housing (104) and a slideable hinge (110) that slideably connects the upper housing (102) with the lower housing (104). The slideable hinge (110) is configured to allow the upper housing (102) to slide along a straight line with the lower housing (104) and to allow the upper housing (102) to pivot relative to the lower housing (104). In one embodiment, the slideable hinge module (110) may be mounted to a display (106) of a mobile phone (100) to allow for sliding and rotation of the display (106) relative to the lower housing (104).</p> |
