<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect crossovers by inserting tubes for protection into a wire between coils. <P>SOLUTION: A wire feeder for winding includes a pair of sidewalls 81, 82 between which the wire 17 supplied to a member 13 to be wound is inserted. At least one of the pair of sidewalls 81, 82 is provided movably, and the pair of sidewalls 81, 82 moves relatively, thus forming both of an approach state for prohibiting a protective tube 19 inserted into the wire 17 from passing and a separation state for allowing the tube 19 to pass. A method of manufacturing continuous coils includes a tube insertion process, a first winding process for inserting the wire 17 between the pair of sidewalls 81, 82 in an approach state for prohibiting the passage of the tube 19 to obtain a first coil 16aa, a tube covering process for covering the wire 17 with the tube 19, and a second wiring process. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
