<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system capable of reducing the number of pumps for supplying water to a cooling water system and a modifying system compared with a conventional fuel cell system and reducing possibility of operation stop caused by cooling water shortage during an operation. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system includes: a hydrogen generation device 1; a fuel cell 2; a cooling water tank 5; a collected water tank 7; a first water passage 8 for connecting between the collected water tank 7 and a reformer; a second water passage 9 for connected with the cooling water tank 5 by branching from the first water passage 8; a water feeder 10 arranged on the first water passage 8 at an upstream side than a branched location P; a switching device 12 for switching a supply destination of water from the collected water tank 7 between the hydrogen generation device 1 and the cooling water tank 5; and a controller 13. The controller 13 executes a first cooling water replenishment operation for replenishing the cooling water to the cooling water tank 5 by alternately and repetitively switching the switching device 12 between a hydrogen generation device 1 side and a cooling water tank 5 side while the water feeder 10 is operated during a fuel gas generation operation of the hydrogen generation device 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
