<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input processing apparatus which can rotate an image currently displayed on a display using an input pad with a simple operation. <P>SOLUTION: A right-handed rotation detection area 18 and a left-handed rotation detection area 19 are assigned to an input pad and an image is displayed on a display. For example, if the right-handed rotation detecting area 18 is tapped once with a finger, the image rotates in the display only a predetermined rotation angle to one direction. If tapped once again, the image rotates further only a predetermined rotation angle to one direction. Same is for the left-handed rotation detecting area 19, and whenever the left-handed rotation detecting area 19 is tapped, the image rotates to the other direction.
