PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication system for selecting a base station device that can be reliably utilized as a base station when selecting a base station device allowed to function as a base station of a coordinated multipoint communication system.

SOLUTION: The base station device BS is provided with: a backhaul interface 140 for acquiring schedule information indicating a communication situation between another base station device and a terminal device existing in a cell where the base station device is included from another base station device via a network; and a CoMP cell information determination section 160 for selecting a base station device functioning as a base station to a target terminal device, based on propagation path situation data and schedule information between the target terminal device and each base station device.
