<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of maintaining excellent visibility even when a background part is colored. <P>SOLUTION: The display device includes: a liquid crystal cell 4 having a display part 41; a light source 3 for illuminating the liquid crystal cell 4; and a translucent reflection plate 5 arranged between the light source 3 and the liquid crystal cell 4 and configured to reflect the light incident from the front side through the liquid crystal cell 4 to the liquid crystal cell 4 side and transmit backlight light from the light source 3 to the liquid crystal cell 4 side. The translucent reflection plate 5 includes a translucent coloring part 53 for coloring a background part 42 of the display part 41, and the coloring part 53 is composed of a dot-like coloring layer 531 formed at predetermined density. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
