<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail device capable of improving visibility by allowing the whole handrail to emit light in band shape to the eyes. <P>SOLUTION: A light reflecting layer 2 is provided over the whole length direction length of at least the upper face of a long-sized core material 1, and a transparent resin coating body 3 is provided over the whole length of the core material 1 to cover the periphery of the core material 1.
