PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outer casing which can realize high water leakage prevention performance and the resistance to strong winds. SOLUTION: The outer casing is formed by bending and molding a plate-like material molded in a belt shape so that it can have an equal cross section throughout its length. The left end of the outer casing is provided with a nearly flat guard 1 in a step-descending state, and the right end of the outer casing is provided with a lower seam 2 in which the guard 1 is stored. A nearly U-shaped rib 3 is provided to the midsection of the outer casing. The guard 1 includes a hook wall 1b warping from the top to the left at the right end of a guard 1a, and the lower seam 2 is constituted in a nearly concave shape, and has a bottom wall 2a and walls on its right-and-left sides. The guard 1a is fixed on the bottom wall 2a. The wall on the left side includes top-and-bottom drawing walls 2b, 2c, an engagement wall 2d, and a guide wall 2e, The top-and-bottom drawing walls 2b, 2c draw the guard part 1, and the engagement wall 2d rises from the left end of the top drawing wall 2b. The guide wall 2e is inclined from the top end of the engagement wall 2d toward a lower left position, and is continuous with the left end of the bottom drawing wall 2c.
