PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheelchair falling prevention device in a wheelchair lift, capable of automatically forming a wheel stop state without using an electric device accompanying the rise of the wheelchair lift, eliminating the need of power of an electric device, thereby wiping off the risk of erroneous operations, malfunctions and faults, improving safety, and contributing to the simplification of a structure and cost reduction. SOLUTION: In the wheelchair falling prevention device in the wheelchair lift 1, the wheelchair lift 1 is provided with a lever 2 to be elevated and lowered following the elevation and lowering of the lift 1. A weight 5 is provided on the front end side lever part 3 of the lever 2, and according to the weight 5, the front end side lever part 3 of the lever 2 is swung downward and the rear end side lever part 4 is swung upward. By the upward swing of the rear end side lever part 4, a wheel stop 6 provided on the lever part 4 is made to face the wheel of the wheelchair, and the falling of the wheelchair from the wheelchair lift 1 is prevented.
