PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a greening structure for reducing load per unit area of a rooftop surface, and improving workability of cleaning. SOLUTION: This greening structure using a planting base is such that a row is formed by arranging a plurality of splicing fittings 2 fitted with a projecting part on the top surface, at intervals, on the rooftop surface 100 of a structure, a first net part 51 is arranged on an opposed row of the splicing fitting 2, the projecting part 23 of the splicing fitting 2 projects from the net of the edge part 51a of the first net part 51, a long material 3 is placed on the row of the splicing fitting 2 through the first net part 51, and the projecting part 23 of the splicing fitting 2 projects from the long material 3. Furthermore, a second net part 52 is arranged on the long material 3, the projecting part 23 of the splicing fitting 2 projects from the net of the edge part of the second net part 52, a dual-structure net part 5 made of the first net part 51 and the opposed second net part 52 is formed, and the row of the planting base 2 placed on the opposite side of the dual-structure net part 5, and the projecting part 23 of the splicing fitting 2, projecting from the net of the edge part 52a of the second net part 52 are connected with first bracing 4.
