IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR OUTPUTTING PAPER FOR CHECKING MISREGISTRATION OF FRONT IMAGE AND BACK IMAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operation efficiency of misregistration check of images formed on the front and the back of a paper sheet.

SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: an image forming section to form an image on a single side or both sides of a paper sheet; and a control section to combine a registration image for deciding misregistration of the image formed on the front and back of the paper sheet with the sample image on the front and the back of the paper sheet on which the sample images are formed to make the image forming section form and output combined images, when the image forming section forms and outputs the sample images at preset timing (sample print timing).
