MEDICAL IMAGE MANAGEMENT DEVICE AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the data storage capacity of medical image data and accessory information to be managed by a medical image management device.

SOLUTION: A control part 31 of a PACS 30 receives DICOM image data for a plurality of frames from a modality through a communication part 34. The control part 31 divides the DICOM image data into medical image data and accessory information. The control part 31 makes the storage part 35 store the accessory information for the plurality of frames as one accessory information file for management. The control part 31 makes the storage part 35 store the medical image data for the plurality of frames as one image file for management.
