<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering angle control device of a vehicle capable of assuring excellent traveling stability. <P>SOLUTION: In this steering angle control device of the vehicle for controlling the steering angle of a wheel to be steered according to the steering operation by the driver of the vehicle, an under-steering state amount-adaptive steering gear ratio correction coefficient for increasing a steering gear ratio is set according to an increase in an under-steering state amount which indicates the strength of the tendency of under-steering of the vehicle, a predetermined standard steering gear ratio is corrected by the set under-steering state amount-adaptive steering gear ratio correction coefficient, and the steering angle of the wheel to be steered is calculated based on the corrected steering gear ratio and the steered angle to detect the steering angle of the wheel to be steered. Then, the steering angle control device controls the steering angle of the wheel so that the calculated steering angle of the wheel matches the detected steering angle of the wheel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
