<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell which detects a pressure inside a pump chamber of a micro pump for carrying out fuel supply through the use of a piezoelectric actuator, and appropriately carries out fuel supply based on the detected result. <P>SOLUTION: A piezoelectric actuator 3 of a micro pump is driven by a vibration control voltage Va. A detecting voltage Vd generated by displacing the piezoelectric actuator 3 is supplied to a comparator 57 through an operational amplifier 56 to compare the detecting voltage Vd with the vibration control voltage Va. A detection voltage SVd extracted for output of the comparator 57 increases in proportion to pressurizing force F. The detection voltage SVd is converted into a digital detection data Dd to supply to a CPU 51. The CPU 51 controls switching from a dry start to a steady operation, determines that the pump chamber becomes empty, and controls appropriate fuel supply volume, based on the detection data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
