PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic flowmeter that uses a pipe on the market having a low-cost purchase unit price as a measuring pipe, as it is, and requiring a locking plate to only a single kind. SOLUTION: This electromagnetic flowmeter wherein the locking plate is mounted on the inside diameter surface of the measuring pipe includes a ring-shaped first connection ring whose one surface is mounted on both-end inside diameter surface of the measuring pipe, and whose other surface is mounted on the outside diameter surface of the locking plate; and a notched part provided on the first connection ring for cutting the connection ring in the axial direction.
