PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component which reliably connects a lead-out electrode to an electrode, and to provide a piezoelectric vibrator and methods for manufacturing them. SOLUTION: There is provided a method for manufacturing the piezoelectric vibrator 10 formed by mounting a piezoelectric vibration piece 14 having an exciting electrode (first exciting electrode 26 and second exciting electrode 30) and a lead-out electrode (first lead-out electrode 28 and second lead-out electrode 32) on a base substrate 44. The method includes: bonding the lead-out electrode and a first face 44a of the base substrate 44 by wax material 36; digging the base substrate 44 and the wax material 36 from a second face 44b opposite to the first face 44a of the base substrate 44 toward the first face 44a; forming a hole (first hole 46 and second hole 48); and forming an electrode (first electrode 50 and second electrode 52) on inner walls 46a and 48a of the hole.
