PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a lead-free electrolytic capacitor preventing the generation of whisker. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing an electrolytic capacitor using a capacitor lead terminal T manufactured by allowing a metal wire 1 to abut on an aluminum wire 5 and welding the metal wire 1 to the aluminum wire 5, a first plating layer 15 of 0.01-1.0μm in thickness is formed on at least one end of the metal wire 1, and the one end of the metal wire 1 abuts on one end of the aluminum wire 5 to execute welding, thereby manufacturing the lead terminal T for capacitor.
